Orlando!

Well not quite a business trip, but my good friend Sam Hutchinson allowed me to hitch a ride to meet Mickey and everyone at Walt Disney World!

The holiday got off to a terrible start because my travel guide Sam forgot to apply for my ESTA, which meant I couldn’t travel on board and watch all the films I was so excited about - Silver Linings Playbear, The Amazing Spider-bear and The Bear Legacy. Fortunately nobody noticed me slip into the hold and my holiday was underway.

The weather proved problematic whilst I was there. The temperature was generally between 20 C and 30 C, which is far too high for someone with a luxuriously thick coat like myself. No amount of Bear and Jerry’s ice-cream could cool down this hot bear!
Some photos of the many exciting things I did are below.

Waiting in line for the big rides was exciting - Aerosmith’s Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster and Space Mountain were two highlights. I also got to high-paw Mickey Mouse, went for a drawing lesson to bring out the Rembearandt in me, cuddled Pinocchio in the sun and sat with Dumbo outside the castle at Magic Kingdom.

The food was delicious too, though I think I need to go on a diet now. I still feel stuffed!

Denton Who?

H everyone, I’m Denton!

I have recently started at GL Loughborough as part of the Works Engagement Committee.

Over the year I have been accompanying my GL colleagues on their travels!  I now have some fab photos to share with you!

My goal is to visit as many of our overseas locations and to meet as many colleagues as possible in 2013.  I am packed and ready to go!

When my tour of duty is over all the memorabilia collected during my travels will be auctioned off and the proceeds donated to charity, including me!!

Looking forward to meeting you!
